Snow Hill is a town in Greene County, North Carolina with a smaller population of less than 2,000 people. It is the county seat of Greene County and is part of the Greenville Metropolitan Area. Rooted in agricultural roots, the farming community and its convenient location to other cities are what make Snow Hill thrive. Snow Hill hosts numerous tennis tournaments during the year as well as the home of the beautiful Golf course and community of Cutter Creek.
Snow Hill is located south of the center of Greene County at on the south side of Contentnea Creek. U.S. Route 13 passes through the north side of the town, leading northeast 23 miles to Greenville and southwest 21 miles to Goldsboro. U.S. Route 258 passes through the center of town, leading north 11 miles to Farmville and south 16 miles to Kinston.
